WHAT IS BAPTISM?

Water baptism is a public expression of what God has done in you. It symbolizes your death to sin and rebirth as a new creation in Jesus, and declares to the world that you are His. We offer baptism for anyone who is a follower of Jesus.

This is a special celebration just for kids where they’ll be baptized and celebrate with their family and friends (cupcakes and balloons included)!

Grades: 6TH-12th

Ark Youth Baptism is for students who are ready to let everyone know that they are following Jesus. Join us for this special celebration!

Family Baptism

Ages: 7 years & up

Adults and families who want to be water baptized are invited to join us on Wednesday or Sunday. This event will be a special celebration and wonderful milestone in your life!

FAQs

Anyone who has said YES to Jesus. Our recommended age is seven and up to ensure the individual's understanding.
Baptism is performed by immersing the person in water, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This is a public celebration of a personal decision.
Child dedication is an opportunity for parents to publicly commit to raising their children in a way that honors the Lord. Typically, this is done before a child is able to make an informed, personal decision to follow Jesus. It is not required for a child to go to Heaven.
No. Baptism is an outward expression of faith that does not directly determine one's salvation. It is an act of obedience once you have said Yes to Jesus.
While it is not necessary, we welcome individuals to consider re-baptism if they were too young to remember their initial baptism, or if they are rededicating their life to Christ.
There is a class scheduled on the same day as Family Baptism. Once you register, check your confirmation details for the time and location. For Kids and Youth, water baptism is explained during their services.
We are happy to accomodate as best as possible. Please contact us here regarding your needs.
Bring a change of clothing and a bag for your wet clothing. No swimming suits please.
