Trusting In The Lord

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding;
Proverbs 3:5 NKJV

This is the verse that Joy has had the staff focus on for over a year. The beautiful thing about God’s word is the life it contains. We can memorize and speak a scripture over and over and still not exhaust its richness or become tired of its truth.

We trust in the Lord with our heart in the face of a world that scoffs. But He is greater than our understanding. Greater than our feelings. Our comprehension and emotions and feelings are very limited, but He is unlimited and powerful and compassionate and worth trusting.

APPLICATION:

Tell the Lord (out loud) that you trust Him. You trust Him more than your thinking and logic and emotions, and feelings. “I trust You, Lord, with all my heart. I choose to put my trust in You.”
