You can play a vital role in making a difference in the lives of others on a weekly basis. With multiple opportunities across different ministries, there’s no better way to discover your community and use your gifts than by becoming a part of an Ark Team.

Our heart is for you to find your sweet spot in serving God's people at The Ark. There are weekly and bi-weekly opportunities available. 

Where Do I Start?

The first step is to attend the Ark Teams Class, which is offered approximately twice a month. This class introduces the heart of The Ark and the values of being an Ark Team Member.

What If I Have Kids?

If you are here for two services and have kids birth-5th grade, we have free ChildCare available following their kids' service.

For 6th grade and up, there are opportunities available for them to attend a service and serve.

Volunteers are an essential part of ministry at The Ark Church – we can’t do it without you! No matter your skills or experience, we have opportunities for you to get involved and make a difference. Check out our open positions and sign up for the next Teams Class to get started.
As Christians, serving is at the core of who we are. Even Jesus came to serve, not be served (Mark 10:45). Volunteering is also one of the best ways to meet people, build relationships, and be an integral part of what God is doing in and through The Ark.
It’s the first step to joining a serving team. You’ll hear about the heart and values of The Ark, discover available areas and opportunities, and find out how to submit your application.
The class is just one hour. Signing up and creating a profile is helpful before class. Just look for the details in the confirmation email after registering.
Each area has different requirements. Basically, you need to be a follower of Jesus and have a heart to serve. You’ll get on-the-job training as you begin and there are opportunities to serve beginning in 6th grade.
We want everyone to serve in their “sweet spot!” While commitment and consistency are vital, there is also some flexibility within each area.
